So it Begins!

I’ve been kneading an outlet for my cooking!

This is many years in the making. I have contemplated sharing the things that I have learned and continued to learn in the kitchen from many wonderful people that I have met in my life. Bread is my new go to for weekend activities but I also bake cakes, cookies, pastry and just plain old good food. I also think that gardening, smoking meats, canning, and dehydration are ways to enjoy the things that we work hard for and allow us to enjoy what we have labored for over the year. I am hoping I can find folks who are interested in one or all different things that are listed above and enjoy the posts and share back so that others can also learn and hear different points of view. I still work full time (for now) and my husband and I are empty nesters that enjoy doing so many things together. I hope to share many of our joint activities as well as our individual activities so you can see how our interests at times compliment each other.
